Washing Instructions:

To ensure the longevity of your beautiful garment, please follow these care instructions:

  • General Care: Due to the delicate nature of the Shiffli work and lace, it is highly recommended to hand wash this garment in cold water with a mild detergent.[2] Gently swish the garment and avoid vigorous rubbing or wringing to protect the embellishments.

  • Top (Cotton Cambric with Shiffli Work & Dyed Lace): Hand wash in cold water.[3] If you choose to machine wash, use a gentle cycle and place the garment in a mesh laundry bag to prevent snagging of the lace and embroidery.[2] Do not use bleach, as it can damage the delicate fibers of the lace.[2]

  • Bottom (Cotton Cambric with Shiffli Lace): Follow the same care as the top.

  • Duppatta (Maslin BSY with Digital Print): For digitally printed fabrics, it is best to wash them inside out in cold water on a delicate cycle to protect the print.[4] Avoid soaking for extended periods.

  • Drying: Line dry all pieces in the shade to prevent fading of the digital print and the dyed lace. Avoid direct sunlight.[5] Do not tumble dry, as the heat can damage the delicate fabrics and embellishments.[6]

  • Ironing: If necessary, iron on a low heat setting, preferably on the reverse side of the fabric to protect the digital print and embellishments.[2] For the lace areas, you can place a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric
